Kaiser is the only springform pan worth messing with. I bake many cheesecakes in addition to other cakes needing a springform pan. They don't leak and the mechanism is easy to use. I use the small ones to bake my large cakes as 2 small cakes and then either freeze one or give it away.

I ordered and received a variety of 8 inch springform pans from Amazon to test out different brands, etc. I was very disappointed that this Kaiser pan is NOT a true 8 inch pan. It is clearly smaller than the other 8 inch pans in my order and upon measuring it, I discovered the inside diameter to be barely over 7 inches. The BASE-which comes up over the outside of the pan ring-measures 8 inches. I need an 8 inch cake for shipping purposes, so I will return this and try the Kaiser 9 inch in hopes that if it measures like this one, I will actually get an 8 inch cake.
