Perfect portioned cake pops
Lisa L

I have problems with my hands rolling the cake pops batter into pefect balls. This made the process much easier and produced perfect portions. I realized after the first few tries was that I needed to keep a cup of warm water on the side to occasionally dip the baller in to "rinse". It worked like a dream because sometimes the batter would stick inside each half of the sphere after about the 4th to 5th scoop. If it wasn't for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

Excellent little product!

I was skeptical that the cake ball maker would really work, but was pleasantly surprised. The handle is sized well (I have big hands and sometimes have problems with handles) and the tool makes the cake ball process so much easier. The balls release fairly well from the tool, but are not completely round. You still have to roll them in your hands. But, the cake balls ARE UNIFORMLY SIZED using the tool! This was a huge issue for me with cake balls. Now I can count on a cake mix to make a standard number of cake balls. LOVE IT!

Not worth the trouble

I bought this based on the other good reviews on the site, however, to me it wasn't worth the trouble. The two halves don't match up completely, so all my cake balls turned into cake ovals. Also, they tended to split right down the middle where the two sides join. It definitely gave me same sized cake balls, but I ended up having to roll them by hand anyway to fix the issues I was having. Overall, not worth the price.
