I am buying these types of things for my son who has wanted to be a chef ever since he was two years old (he's nearly fourteen now). He's using them for butter molds and the entire family is having a blast having fancy butters to use with holiday and Sunday dinners. I'm sure they could also be used to make homemade soap bars, fancy chocolates and such too - they probably will in my house because we're always multiusing things like this.This particular mold was not dissapointing in the slightest. Great construction, handled the heat and freezer beautifully.
