i really like this pan . it's for cake but i used it to make easter breads. they came out great. with non-stick spray sprayed on them before puting the bread dough in to raise these breads popped right out with no trouble. cant wait to try a cake with this pan. the only complaint is i wish the pan came in a 7 inch by 3 inch size, otherwise i recommend fat daddio's [i just love that name] pan.

Great quality, great price BUT . . .

I bought this pan because I wanted a stainless steel 9x13 pan, primarily to be used for baking cakes and brownies. Unfortunately, the center of the bottom pan has a raised section (in other words, there is a section all the way around the sides of the pan that is the full depth, but there is a shallower rectangular section inside that area), so if you are baking a cake or brownies, the pieces in the middle come out flatter than the ones at the edges. As a result of this design flaw (which is what I consider it to be), the pan is not really suitable for the primary purpose for which I bought it. If I had seen it in a store, I would not have bought it, but because I ordered it online, I was unaware of the way the bottom of the pan is shaped. I kept it because it's such a nuisance to return things by mail (not to mention the cost of shipping it back), but I am disappointed in it. However, if you are using it for something other than baking cakes and brownies, you will probably like it a lot.

This is an amazing pan/lid. Not only is it heavy and well made, it is gorgeous! I have wanted a pan like this for at LEAST 25 years and have suffered through MANY ugly, cheap, 9X13 pans that just did not please me! FINALLY I found this pan. It is well worth the money and you will not be sorry if you order this pan. It bakes beautifully and did not scratch when I cut the food. Clean up was a breeze too! I LOVE this pan. It was received sooner than promised and well packed. This would make a great shower or wedding gift. Thanks a million!

These paper baking pans were super easy to use and the cake came out of them very easily. I would have given them 5 stars, but some of the pans had a crease in the side from the packing that made the cake not uniform around the edge. Not a problem for my own use, but not good enough for gifting. I would definietly buy these again!

I just finished mopping the batter for my flourless souffle cake off the floor. This pan does not lock securely. As I went to put it into the oven, the bottom fell out, leaking all of my precious chocolate filled batter. Buyer beware!!

This pan really is effective in doing what it promises. It really does release cakes and crusts (you will still often have to loosen it with a spatula though).The downside for me though is that it is awful to clean. The groove where the dimpled base attaches to the ring can get a lot of crumbs stuck on it, and it's very hard to clean and pry them out.I also found that if your batter is thin, it will leak. Don't try to make a quiche in this! I attempted it but the mixture is just not viscous enough, so it leaked and created a mess in my oven.

This 8" sprinform pan was a big disappointment. The base of the pan did not fit snugly in the pan itself. It also leaked. I wish I would have tested it before I used it. After baking a chocolate torte that leaked, I filled the pan with water and it came leaking out. Also, the rim on the bottom of the pan was very hard to clean. I had to use a toothpick to dig out the batter. If I can find the receipt I am going to return it.

This claims to be the Kaiser Noblesse springform pan at a wonderful price from the seller Shop and Save. In reality it is the Kaiser Classic line, which does NOT have the leak guard rim on the bottom *as seen in the product image*. The pan was properly labeled as the Classic line on the product insert by Kaiser.I will say the pan I received was of good quality and the price is most likely reasonable for that line. However it lacked the key feature I desired, which was the reason I ordered the Noblesse version instead of the Classic in the first place.The pan was promptly returned for refund.Lastly, if they are selling the Classic as the Noblesse line I do not want to think of what they are passing off as a Kaiser Classic pan.

This pan is awesome! It cooks very evenly, does NOT leak and I made the best looking cake ever with it! I am going to buy a couple more...I had no idea what I was missing but this is the way to go if you want to bake a good looking cake without any effort at all! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Great Lasagna pan

This is my second springform pan from Frieling and I couldn't be happier with the products they sell. I just finished making a vegetable lasagna with this pan and I absolutely loved how easy the springform opened with no pasta or sauce stuck to the sides. Just having the side of the lasagna accessible made serving it so much easier with less of the mess you get with the usual lasagna pan. I was also amazed by how simple the cleanup was. I cleaned both parts by hand (they say you can put the bottom in the dishwasher) and with no hard scrubbing I was able to clean this pan and make it look as if it was brand new again. I would highly recommend this Springform.

Sides of pan warped, now it leaks.

For the price, I thought I'd have a pan that would last a lifetime, but after about six months of once-weekly gentle use, the sides of the pan have warped and now it immediately starts to leak batter as soon as it's poured in. I'm very disappointed with this pan and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Used it to make a triple chocolate mousse cake for my son's birthday and it worked perfectly. My only complaint is to be careful when cleaning it because the little rod that holds the buckle together had fallen out and I had to search my kitchen floor for it.

I do like using this pan, however, it does not give instructions on how far to fill up the pan so I had to go through a few cake mixes to figure out the right amount, so it did not spill over in the cake pan when baked...I do now love using it and have made some mini cakes for friends birthdays and they love the little cakes that they make...

This is an excellent lid. I love that the lid is metal. It snuggly fits on the 9x13 inch Doughmakers cake pan. Though the metal for the lid is not as thick as the doughmaker pans, I wouldn't call it "thin." I believe this lid, like the doughmaker pans, will last a lifetime. I'm thrilled with my purchase. My only issue, the lid is not very high off the pan. Though it hasn't been a problem yet, there is not a lot of headroom between the rim of the pan and the top of the lid.

No exception for Nordic ware here, this is a very well made cake pan. High grade materials that will last a long time as with all Nordic ware bake ware. Does not stick, doesn't dent, cakes pop out perfect every time. Its a bit more of an investment price wise but it will be one of the few that you will hand down to your kids.

An essential dish for every kitchen

I have only GOOD things to say about this baking dish. I bought one for myself when I got my first apartment. Five years later, and it still looks brand new and I use it all the time. In fact, I had to buy a second one (in blue this time) because I use this so much!This dish is a good size for making meals for one or two people, as well as side dishes for more, or brownies, etc. It fits nicely in the fridge or freezer for storage, in the microwave for easy reheating, and in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. The handles are good sized for easy gripping and looks perfectly at home on a side buffet table at holidays.For the price, you can't beat this purchase. It is worth so much more than what you will actually spend.

Pyrex exploded in the oven!

I bought my Pyrex in 2005. Until tonight's dinner, there were no problems. 10 minutes after placing the (room-temperature) Pyrex in the oven, my husband heard an explosion. It had shattered into large pieces, smaller pieces, and hundreds of shards. After researching it on Amazon, we learned that Pyrex made after 1998 is actually manufactured by a different company and the manufacturing standards are not as good. Beware!

They are shipping the "grip-rite" version, which has larger grip handles on either side, and is NOT the product that is pictured. I specifically needed the small handles so that the dish would fit into a square water bath that I use. There is another listing for the grip-rite version Pyrex Grip-Rite 8-Inch Square Baking Dish, Clear, which is what I received, for $4 less than this listing. Very disappointing.

I have long been a fan of Wilton pans - the cakes come out clean with a nice impression for decorating, and the cakes seem to cook evenly. This bunny pan was no exception. My children wanted to make a bunny cake for Easter, and our trial cake came out very cute. It used slightly more than one standard box mix of batter. I would recommend non-stick spray, even though the pan is non-stick. With all the little indentations for the whiskers and ears, the non-stick spray helped prevent any cake from sticking in those grooves. I'm happy to add this to our novelty pans, and based on the kids' reactions, will be making bunny cakes for many Easters to come!

I wanted to start an Easter Tradition for my 2 year old grandson. I followed the directions on the pan and on the cake mix. Seemed like it took a little longer to cook than anticipated, maybe since it was a darker pan. It turned out great, easy to decorate. He was so excited he did not want to eat his lunch, just wanted the bunny cake.

I used this pan for the first time to make shortbread. What a wonderful baking experience. This pan browned it all around and still left the top light, as you want it with shortbread. I can't wait to try it with cake. You don't have to guess with these pans, they brown perfectly. Chemical free and made in the USA. all excellent things.

When it's baking, it smell like Heaven must smell.1/3 cup butter1 cup dark brown sugar1 egg1/4 teaspoon salt3/4 cup flour1 teaspoon baking POWDER1/2 teaspoon vanillaoptional: 1/2 cup chopped nutsMelt butter, add other ingredients, and spread in buttered 8 x 8 inch pan (this round one is just the right size, too). Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.TRY to cool a little before cutting. (I can never wait)

Split in bottom edge of largest pan

Today was the first time I needed to use the largest pan in this set and it had never been out of the plastic. I found a 1/2-inch gash in one of the bottom edges. Fat Daddio is a great quality product so I never inspected the pans - should have been more careful. Too long ago to return it now, but will be more careful in the future to check the entire pan.
