There was no leaking and it's a heavier pan so it holds up quite well. It's a very good value for the money.

Pros: This pan is definitely good for the price. I've made a few cheesecakes in it so far and it's held up well to short bursts of high heat (~12 minutes @ 550F) without warping, and the locking mechanism closes tightly and opens/closes smoothly.Cons: Pan is advertised as non-stick, and on the sides it is. However, the first cake I made in it I neglected to spray the bottom of the pan and the little ridges took pieces out of the bottom of the cake when I took the pan off. But, spraying it with cooking spray fixed that the next time. The bottom can also take some finagling to get into the slot it sits in when locked.Overall, I'd recommend this pan if you can't/don't want to spring for the really expensive ones. It works pretty well.

I have only used the pan once but it had not rusted like some of the other reviewers suggested. It had a good seal but liquid does get through it so just be aware if your making anything that starts as a liquid. All in all great spring form pan.
