Delightful!

This mold worked very well for me. Although instructions were vague, I used common kitchen sense and a boxed cake mix (prepared as directed).I sprayed the mold lightly with cooking spray and did not overfill the bottom half of the mold. The top half has holes for steam to escape, and conveniently to test doneness with a toothpick.I placed it in the preheated oven on a cookie sheet and baked it at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes. Cooking times are usually a little longer with my oven, it's an ancient Esso model built in 1930. After baking, I took out the mold out of the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. I then carefully (to avoid steam burns) removed the top half of the mold before letting it sit for another 5-10 minutes. The balls popped out very easily into a bowl lined with a bit of waxed paper. You could also use parchment paper if you prefer.I found that if I let it cool for 10-15 minutes without removing the top half of the mold, the contained steam would make them a little soggy. That's why I recommend removing the top after 5 minutes. I wiped the mold clean with a paper towel after each batch; it took three batches to use up one box of cake mix. The mold cleaned up just fine in the top rack of the dishwasher.I think cake balls (I didn't bother with the sticks) would make a delightful appetizer or party dish. I served mine with icing on the side. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who's adventurous in the kitchen.

I have made 3 batches of Cake Pops in these molds and every batch has turned out great!!! They are very easy to work with. I like the fact that you can bake 20 Pops at one time. They bake up very even and uniform, plus it is super easy to clean. This was an excellent buy, I am extremely happy with this purchase!!! Thank you!!!
