Item Information

Looking to bake a tiered cheesecake, or maybe a torte? Use these springform pans from Kaiser Bakeware, which are made in graduated sizes of 8, 9, and 10 inches. The pans are constructed of heavy-gauge tin-plated steel, a high-performance baking material that consistently browns cakes without burning them. The pans also include a waffle base to hold butter--a must not only for terrific flavor, but to guarantee a clean release from the surface. The tin-plated surface, which heats evenly, is strong enough to resist bending, and its springform buckle releases quickly. Kaiser invented the springform pan, so you can rest assured that the company knows a thing or two about how to build in quality construction and superior performance. Kaiser recommends hand washing the pans, in addition to seasoning the pans with butter or oil before using. The springform buckle comes with a lifetime warranty. --Rivers Janssen

Customer Opinions

Nice pans
M. Karazim

These are a nice weight and don't have the non-stick finish, so you can use any kind of utensils on them without worrying about scratches. The buckles seem very well made and pop open easily for removing the bottoms. The only thing I find annoying is that the middle pan is more of a 9-1/2 inch pan than a 9 inch. I guess this doesn't really matter too much for most recipes, but the other two pans are dead on at 8 and 10 inches. Such a great price for all three, compared to what just one of the non-stick springform pans costs, and these will last forever.Update:Two cheesecakes later (with perfect results), and I'm very happy with this set. I wanted to note that although the pans are not rated to 500 degrees, the baking method I used to prevent cracking instructed me to bake the cheesecake for 15 minutes at 500 and then at 200 for another hour. I did this both times with no cracks or damage to the pans. While this might not be the smartest thing to do (always best to follow manufacturers instructions) I got good results. The cakes released easily from the pan when chilled and I had no problems with sticking.

Doesn't stick at all

I've made multiple cheesecakes with these and have never had any stick at all; these are wonderful.
