The USA Pans Rectangular Cake Pan is constructed of aluminized steel, the material of choice for commercial bakeries. It measures 9 X 13", perfect for cakes and brownies. The metal thickness has been selected to allow for even heat distribution and maximum service life. An important and unique feature of this pan is its corrugated design. Corrugation maximizes the pans strength and prevents warping, denting and other effects of everyday use. Plus, it also minimizes surface contact which translates into evenly baked products that are easily released. For additional strength, pan features rolled edges with internal steel wires. No need for messy and unhealthy oil and grease. This pan is coated with Americoat. Americoat is a proprietary silicone coating. It provides a clear, non-stick, non-toxic baking surface, specially formulated for superior baking. It's FDA approved; it does not contain PTFE's or PFOA's. It is not recommended to exceed baking temperature of 400 degrees F. Easy care. To clean, simply wipe clean after use; soap and water are okay to use. It is not recommended that pan be washed in dishwasher because harsh chemicals can cause the non-stick material to breakdown in time. Dry pan completely, after cleaning. Could have saved $$ on pans that didn't last since this one will outlast me. Heavy, truly non-stick (don't put in the dishwasher or the silicone will be harmed) and works like it should. I was initially afraid to cut across the ridges on the bottom to remove the brownies, but no harm done. Bought this after replacing an 8" and 9" square and will replace others as they inevitably die prematurely.

I ordered this pan after using one that a friend owned. The rippled bottom and heavy weight distributes heat really well. I am now looking into other sizes to increase my pantry!

I got these for a modern toaster oven that takes full size pans. Wow! These are so nice! Since the name of Pyrex has gone the wayside, (exploding pans?!) I will not be replacing my long favorite glass pans when they break. These pans will work perfectly for me, they are lighter than Pyrex but heavier than typical cheap pans. They have a wonderful finish and finely rolled edges. I am very impressed! I wish these were for me and not a gift! USA Pans, you have a convert!
