I've had this for a while. It is heavy duty and bakes a wonderful cake. I purchased to bake pound cakes, but I'm so pleased with the pan, I bake all my cakes in it. It's just so easy to bake cakes in this pan. My cakes turn out golden brown and evenly baked. They look attractive and I like the one pan concept. It's just easy and no more lopsided layers. The finished cake releases easily. The nonstick coating looks the same as the day I received this cake pan. No scratches or peeling, at all. Now, I also use it for jello molds and when I want an attractive cornbread. The price is great...excellent quality.Just remember to lower the required oven temp about 25 degrees with baking in dark metal, non stick pans.UPDATE: This pan makes a beautifully baked traditional pound cake. I baked Paula Deen's "Southwest Georgia Pound Cake". It was golden, delicious, rich, and dense,.....you can google the recipe. It was easy, too. If you make this yummy cake, you may cut the sugar by 1/2 cup, add an extra tsp of flavoring, and check on the cake after 65 minutes, instead of the suggested 75 minutes. For this cake, 325 degrees is the correct temp to use.No preheating the oven, either. It goes into a cold oven and comes out perfect....(remember to really whip the butter and sugar until fluffy). It's dense, but not too heavy; moist, but not gummy. It was just perfectly textured! It's a really good recipe. Oh, if you like lemon, add the zest of one lemon, in addition to the lemon flavoring.Swans Down has a good recipe for a "Whipped Pound Cake". The recipe is similar to Deens, but lighter, because of the cake flour. I like them both.

This is such a wonderful pan - did not grease or flour the pan and the cake released beautifully. Very good pan for the money.
